Job Title: Software Development Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled software development specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design, development, and implementation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing new software applications, as well as editing and reviewing existing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and determine integration needs.
  • Evaluate and plan software designs, test results, and technical manuals.
  • Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
  • Program new software, web applications, and support new applications under development and the customization of current applications.
  • Edit and review technical requirements documentation.
  • Work with Quality Assurance teams to determine if applications fit specifications and technical requirements.
  • Display knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
  • Display knowledge of and ability to apply process design and redesign skills.
  • Display in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply project management skills.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in software development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
