About Our Role:

We're seeking a seasoned technical leader to spearhead the development of robust systems.

This hands-on IC role involves building foundational infrastructure, scaling it into reusable patterns as the team grows.

Initial Focus Areas:

  • Prominent AI capabilities: Streamlining retrieval, function calling, streaming UX, and evaluation guardrails.
  • High-throughput content processing: Ingestion pipelines, storage, delivery, with observability and cost control.
  • Identity, privacy, and trust: Consent-driven flows, signed tokens, rate limits, audit trails, abuse prevention.
  • Data platform: Normalize external data, model entities/relationships, and expose clean APIs.
  • Product surfaces: Ship reliable and high-performance Flutter apps and ReactJS dashboards.
  • Operational excellence: Monitoring, alerting, automated tests, incident playbooks, and a controlled release cadence.

Tech Stack:

  • Backend: Java 23, Spring Boot 3, Python
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • App: Flutter
  • Admin & Seller Web: ReactJS
  • Cloud: AWS (EC2, RDS, S3)
  • AI Tooling: OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, vector search (pgvector/Pinecone), LangChain/LlamaIndex.

Key Requirements:

  • 6-10+ years building production systems as the primary architect. Exceptional earlier-career builders welcome with proof.
  • Hands-on Java + Spring Boot experience, plus comfort with Python.
  • Exposure to Flutter or ReactJS in production.
  • Strong systems thinking: data models, performance budgets, failure handling.
  • Security & privacy instincts: PII handling, consent flows, audit trails.
  • Excellent written communication: crisp docs, READMEs, and runbooks.

  • Principal/Distinguished IC (maximizing technical leverage), or
  • CTO/VP Eng (when a team exists and needs leadership).
