Senior Network Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Network Operations Engineer.

The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of experience in LAN/WAN and SD-WAN infrastructure, configuration, and operations. A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is essential.

A Cisco CCNP/CCIE Routing and Switching certification is desirable, along with in-depth knowledge of:

  • Cisco LAN, WAN, SD-WAN (CISCO Viptela highly desirable) and data center infrastructure
  • Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), carrier WAN and Internet offerings, cloud network services
  • Cisco LAN switching technologies including STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLANs, EtherChannel and switch stacking; proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, implementing QoS, and managing network segmentation and redundancy
  • Firewalls, Zscaler and load balancer(F5) infrastructure, configuration, and operations

In addition, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Cisco CCIE Wireless / Aruba Expert Level (ACMX, ACDX, ACCX) certification is desirable
  • Certified Wireless Networking Professional (CWNP) and Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) is desirable
  • Thorough knowledge of WiFi network infrastructure and understanding of software defined networking
  • Experience with Wireless LAN (Cisco WLAN, Cisco ISE, Aruba WLAN, Aruba Clearpass, Aruba Central, Aruba Naas) and private 5G solutions

Prioritizing the LAN/WAN and SD-WAN skillsets would be ideal, but not required.
