We're seeking a seasoned Lead Backend Engineer to drive the strategic direction of our backend systems, lead complex engineering initiatives, and mentor junior engineers.

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leverage your expertise in API design, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines to drive best practices and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop backend systems that meet business needs.
  • Mentor junior engineers, provide code reviews, and ensure adherence to engineering excellence standards.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 6+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, and API design.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in Docker, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, DDD, and AI/ML integration (desired).
