Avionics Software Engineer

As a Senior Avionics Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our next-generation flight display systems. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced software engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and testing of complex avionics software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality avionics software using C and Embedded C programming languages.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design architectures, and ensure timely delivery of software components.
  • Develop and maintain complex software systems, including but not limited to avionics protocols, data structures, and database management.
  • Collaborate with peers to perform peer reviews, debugging, and bug fixing.
  • Participate in agile development phases, respecting deadlines and contractual milestones.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-13 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in embedded systems and avionics software.
  • Good understanding of complex architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for avionics systems.
  • Strong skills in writing high-level and low-level requirements, as well as high-level and low-level test definitions.
  • Experience with requirement management tools, such as DOORS, and configuration management tools, like ClearCase or Git.
  • Knowledge of static and dynamic testing tools, like LDRA, and avionics protocols (A429, A664-AFDX, RS232, Arinc 653).
