  • Define and drive the holistic design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.

We are looking for a senior director with 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company, who has led a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Design Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive design vision that ensures a seamless user experience across our products.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of talented product designers, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, engineering, and data science teams to drive product strategy and alignment.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Skills:

  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Excellent relationship management skills working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex design concepts and strategies to a variety of audiences.
