Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineering Team Lead to spearhead the development of our new stablecoin payments initiative.

This is a pivotal role that will require you to lead a small engineering team while staying hands-on building backend systems that scale securely and reliably. You will be responsible for leading backend development, designing and scaling backend systems, building reliable infrastructure, and ensuring security, scalability, and regulatory readiness in architecture.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading backend development of web and mobile applications
  • Designing and scaling backend systems powering payments and settlements
  • Building solid, reliable infra on top of fragmented provider APIs across markets
  • Leading technical discussions and owning architecture for integrations and scaling
  • Mentoring and managing a small engineering team across infra + app layers

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.js and API design
  • A background in fintech or payments is highly desirable
  • Experience building integrations with external APIs/partners across geographies
  • A track record of leading small teams and scaling early-stage systems
  • The ability to thrive in ambiguity, take ownership, and ship fast
