Job Title: Taxation Manager

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Finalize tax computation, return of income, TDS returns, and ensure GST compliance.
  • Handle direct tax, international tax, and indirect tax compliance for group entities.
  • Manage transfer pricing, APA (Advance Pricing Agreement), AAR (Authority for Advance Ruling), MAP, POEM, SEP.
  • Support tax assessments, transfer pricing assessments, and appeals.
  • Advise on applicability of taxes for transactions, both domestic and international.
  • Ensure timely and correct group reporting related to tax accounting.
  • Comply with all corporate tax and TDS returns and payments within deadlines.
  • Handle foreign withholding tax compliance, 15CA/CB, master filing, and CbCR.
  • Oversee tax compliance for expatriates and support HR in salary taxation.
  • Prepare income tax computations quarterly for advance tax and dividend payout.
  • Respond to tax notices and support statutory, group, and internal audits.
  • Understand ERP systems like Oracle or SAP to align with tax law changes.
  • Create SOPs and internal controls to ensure long-term tax compliance.
  • Maintain structured tax documentation for easy retrieval.
  • Advise management on tax aspects of complex transactions like mergers/demergers.
  • Identify areas of tax savings and manage open tax litigation risk.
