Job Title: Senior Indirect Tax Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Senior Indirect Tax Manager. As a Senior Indirect Tax Manager, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end GST compliance, managing Income Tax matters, and providing advisory support on taxation queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end GST compliance, including filing returns, reconciliations, and assessments.
  • Manage Income Tax matters, such as ITR filings, tax planning, and scrutiny assessments.
  • Draft replies, appeals, and representations for departmental notices and proceedings.
  • Attend hearings and interactions with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Provide advisory support on taxation queries and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification; candidates with substantial relevant experience in taxation (without CA) will also be considered.
  • Proven hands-on experience in GST and Income Tax domains, including drafting and departmental interactions.
  • Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, rules, and recent amendments.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a client-facing role.
