Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the business community for SAP in the PP/QM Functional Support area, including new projects and production support across all functions within SAP.
  • Estimate configuration and unit testing activities for projects as needed.
  • Design and configure solutions in the production planning/quality management space of multiple SAP environments.
  • Support production planning interfaces and assist with technical team members for legacy and third-party systems using techniques like LSMW, BAPI, IDOC, RFC calls, BDC, and call transaction update methods.
  • Assist with functional performance optimization and collaborate with technical team members on tuning where necessary.
  • Research and apply OSS notes.
  • Develop detailed user documentation of customized program functions.
  • Ensure effective cross-team communication and teamwork.
  • Supervise and report project status to management, anticipating and addressing issues that impact project objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in off-hours meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of work experience.
  • 3 to 6 years of SAP PP/QM experience in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.
  • Experience in multiple SAP modules, including PP/QM, MM/WM, and SD.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills in English.
  • Self-managing and self-motivating, with a focus on meeting customer expectations.

Additional Skills:

  • Relevant technical certificates are a plus.
  • Experience with full-cycle implementation is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of NetWeaver, PP/DS, and BI is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Solution Manager-Charm and ITSM systems like Service-Now and SolarWinds is helpful.
