Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agro Region Manager to lead our potato supply chain operations in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted supply of high-quality potatoes to our plants, while also driving business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team and assist the Regional Manager in implementing a better extension model for farmer connect for CF.
  • Ensure the identification and sustenance of long-term storage stores for uninterrupted supplies of potatoes for all plants, month-wise and season-wise, within quality specifications.
  • Identify and develop new farmers and areas for potato multiplication to cater to business needs.
  • Arrange for timely allocation and distribution of seed to farmers and supervise post-planting activities.
  • Ensure chip-grade programs and zero pilferage of chip-grade potatoes.
  • Market intelligence, competitors' buying activities, and tactical buying expertise to make volumes and rates within AOP.
  • Quality deliveries, TPoD, Ref cap, and Solid percentage.
  • Managing copack deliveries and ensuring no rejection due to quality variation.
  • Closing coordination with transport agencies and LD&T Managers for timely placement of vehicles.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate/PG in Agriculture/MBA - Marketing/Supply Chain.
  • Proven experience of dealing with farmers, traders, negotiation, selling, collaboration, agricultural departments, and state agricultural policy.
  • Experience of dealing with local government authorities, suppliers, transporters, and farmer unions.
