Accounting Operations Manager

The company is looking for a seasoned accounting professional to oversee end-to-end accounting and book closure activities across multiple geographies.

This high-impact role demands a strong foundation in accounting and international financial reporting, with experience in overseeing general ledger processes and managing accounting operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and implementing the overall accounting strategy
  • Managing core accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Handling reconciliations related to capital assets, trust accounts, check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt activity
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to generate timely and accurate financial statements and reports
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures while maintaining a deep understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
  • Driving timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures as per company expectations
  • Collaborating with the finance team and management to align with departmental and organizational goals

Requirements include:

  • CA / CMA / ICWA qualified or semi-qualified professionals with 8 - 9 years of relevant combined experience (including training)
  • Proven experience in overseeing accounting operations and managing general ledger processes across multiple entities
  • Solid understanding of Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax (GST) provisions, with practical application to day-to-day transactions
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently across teams and with leadership

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ZOHO and Tally, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and comfortable using AI tools for productivity enhancement.
