Structural Design Opportunities

Job Description:
  • Promote the creation of accurate 3D structural models in line with project specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure that 2D production drawings are clearly annotated, dimensioned, and detailed, adhering to our company's standards and guidelines.
  • Manage the BIM workflow efficiently, covering aspects like folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.
  • Maintain and update structural BIM/CAD files for use in the design process (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshooting).
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Utilize tools such as Navisworks for seamless project collaboration across multiple disciplines.
  • Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions.
  • Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in creating structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery is highly desirable.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software is essential.
  • Strong understanding of building construction and how a structure comes together.
  • Ability to think creatively in 3D.
  • Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.
