Data Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer II to join our team and play a key role in building analytics tools for Fabric Capacity Admins. If you have experience in Microsoft Fabric and are proficient in Realtime (Kusto) and BI (Power BI), we would love to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with a talented team, and drive innovation in the field of data engineering.
As a Data Engineer II, you will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring Azure Database/Managed Instance services. You will also identify opportunities to implement automation and resolve live-site incidents, owning and triaging service issues with a focus on broad communications, learning, and teaching throughout the process.
Additionally, you will interact with customers at various levels, responding to escalations from support or service outages, and driving initiatives and projects across the organization.
Periodic on-call responsibilities are also part of this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Opportunity to work on a unified data stack to run an entire data estate.
