System Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced system analyst to collaborate with our program team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical specifications and business requirements. They should be proficient in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL, as well as experienced with AWS infrastructure and modern development frameworks like Java, Python, or Node.js.

A day in the life:

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Build business cases for strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness.
  • Build and optimize monitoring and alerting capabilities.
  • Automate report generation to get meaningful KPIs.
  • Understand application architecture and recommend strategies to meet SLAs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze real/actual data for business reporting and production issues troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development, with focus on POS applications.
  • Proficiency in Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks and languages.
  • Knowledge of POS hardware and software integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
