Job Summary:

As a Lead Quality Management System Auditor, you will be responsible for planning and executing audits of quality management systems, identifying areas for improvement, and guiding suppliers to build robust systems based on industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits of quality management systems at supplier locations
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Guide suppliers to build robust quality management systems based on industry best practices
  • Conduct training sessions on quality management for suppliers
  • Regularly compile best practices related to quality management being followed by suppliers and OEMs
  • Engage in supplier performance data analysis and develop quality assurance strategies based on current challenges

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in quality management systems, preferably in a lead auditor or internal auditor role
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF-16949 standards
  • Familiarity with quality management tools such as SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
