Job Summary: AI/ML Lead Engineer

We are seeking a talented and passionate AI/ML Engineer to join our AI foundry program and contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models across our platform.

The individual will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient machine learning models using Python and other supporting technologies including Cloud Run, SQL, GCP, and Vertex AI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using predictive analytics, in Python, Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, data science) to define and refine business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis, feature engineering, and model selection to ensure optimal model performance.
  • Develop and maintain robust and scalable machine learning pipelines.
  • Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms for real-time and batch processing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and explore new technologies and frameworks.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices for AI/ML development.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and presentations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in application development with strong experience in Python development with NumPy, Pandas, Sci-kit learn packages.
  • A strong understanding of and experience working with machine learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
  • A strong understanding of and experience working with deep learning algorithms such as CNNs, RNNs, MLPs, Feed forward Neural Networks, etc., including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with popular machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
  • Experience with any public cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Run, SQL, and other GCP or equivalent cloud services will be a plus.
  • Experience with Vertex AI or other AI/ML platforms is a plus.
  • A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Good communication and articulation skills.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and solving complex problems.
Estimated Salary Range:

₹12-25 Lakhs per annum

This estimate is based on industry standards for similar positions in the Chennai/Hyderabad location with 7-12 years of experience.
