Job Title: Electric Vehicle Charging System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage the installation, setup, and configuration of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EV charging protocols, cloud-based platforms, and data monitoring tools.

  • Manage the installation and setup of EV charging systems to integrate with charging stations.
  • Configure user management, pricing models, and load balancing within the system.
  • Monitor charging station performance and operational status through the system.
  • Generate real-time and periodic reports on charging station usage, efficiency, energy consumption, and fault detection.
  • Proactively identify issues or inefficiencies in the system and resolve them.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems with charging stations or the platform.
  • Work with vendors or internal teams to resolve issues related to hardware or software.
  • Provide technical support to end-users regarding the system, charging station operation, and payment services.
  • Customer Escalations:
  • Manage customer escalations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • System Optimization:
  • Develop strategies to improve the efficiency of charging operations and reduce downtime through analytics.
  • Implement load balancing and dynamic optimization to reduce energy costs and improve charging speeds.
  • Integrate the system with other energy management systems and ensure proper communication between systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience working with EV charging systems or similar energy management platforms.
  • Familiarity with EV charging protocols such as OCPP is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and data monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, IoT systems, and API integration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
