VMware Infrastructure Specialist

This role involves designing and implementing VMware infrastructure solutions, including vCenter, NSX, ESXi, and Cloud Director environments.

  • We are seeking a skilled professional with hands-on experience in system automation, scripting, and cloud computing.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in Ansible, VMware API integration development, and cloud networking.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins build platforms, Web UI development, GitHub issue management, and networking security components is also required.
  • This position requires strong collaboration skills, as the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement VMware infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop system automation scripts using Python or PowerShell.
  • Administer Linux systems and develop software applications.
  • Work with enterprise cloud environments and understand deployment practices from development to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Ansible, VMware API integration development, and cloud networking.
  • Knowledge of IBM Cloud API integration development, Windows Active Directory administration, and Windows SQL server administration.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins build platforms, Web UI development, GitHub issue management, and networking security components.
  • Understanding of secure engineering principles, best practices, and industry standards.
