Job Title:

Expert Elasticsearch Administrator

A senior-level role for a highly skilled SRE who will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and performance of our Elasticsearch clusters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, monitor and optimize Elasticsearch clusters in public cloud, Kubernetes clusters, and private datacenter environments to ensure peak performance and availability.
  • Develop, implement, and manage automation scripts using declarative tools like Puppet and various scripting mechanisms to streamline cluster management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and build long-lasting partnerships to drive success.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and resolve escalated issues as needed to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Expertise in administration and management of Elasticsearch clusters (primary).
  • Strong knowledge in provisioning and Configuration Management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, etc.
  • Experience in building Automations and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Packer or CloudFormation templates.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Prometheus, PagerDuty, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, Perl, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Pipelines, Artifactory, etc.
