Cloud-Based Systems Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud-Based Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining existing code and configuration, developing, testing, and deploying new features, as well as generating clear and concise code documentation.

  • Maintaining Existing Code and Configuration: You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining SaaS applications, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Development Deployment: You will develop, test, and deploy new features based on designs created with the guidance of senior team members. You will implement solutions following standard methodologies for code structure and efficiency.
  • Documentation: You will generate clear and concise code documentation for new and existing features to ensure smooth handovers and easy future reference.
  • Collaborative Design: You will work closely with team members and collaborators to understand project requirements and translate them into functional technical designs.
  • Code Reviews Quality Assurance: You will participate in peer code reviews, providing feedback on adherence to standard methodologies, and ensuring high code quality and maintainability.
  • Testing Debugging: You will assist in writing unit and integration tests to validate new features and functionalities. You will support fix and debugging efforts for existing systems to resolve bugs and performance issues.
  • Application Support and Administration: You will perform application support and administration tasks such as periodic review, manage incident response and resolution, and security reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid Technical Background: You must have a solid understanding of software development processes, databases, and cloud-based systems.
  • Experience Configuring SaaS Applications: You must have experience configuring SaaS applications such as Veeva.
  • Experience Working with Databases: You must have experience working with databases such as SQL/NoSQL.
  • Strong Foundational Knowledge of Testing Methodologies: You must have a strong foundational knowledge of testing methodologies.
  • Good-to-Have Skills: A good understanding of Veeva Quality Vault/ALM/KNEAT would be beneficial.
  • Curiosity of Modern Technology Domain: You must have a curiosity of modern technology domain and learning agility.

Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree: You must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and 1-3 years of experience in software development processes, databases, and cloud-based systems.
  • Diploma: You must have a Diploma in Computer Science or related field and 4-7 years of experience in software development processes, databases, and cloud-based systems.
