Job Title: Cloud Systems Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud-based systems using industry-leading technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of cloud services and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Develop and implement automated deployment scripts and tools to streamline the delivery of cloud-based services.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications and ensure seamless end-user experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and make recommendations for innovation and growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud service providers (CSPs) such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and training sessions.
