Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Cloud Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and backend services using Python.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data across cloud databases (e.g., BigQuery).
  • Design and implement data pipelines and workflows on GCP using services like Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
  • Manage jobs, logs, and process monitoring in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, data analysts, and other developers to support scalable cloud-based architectures.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data or system issues in production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and backend development.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, with experience in data extraction and transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Composer.
  • Solid experience with Unix/Linux command-line tools and scripting (e.g., Bash).
