About the Role

We're a pioneering company at the forefront of prop-commerce. The next 12–18 months are about turning complex challenges into robust systems with real users.

This is a hands-on IC role where you'll build the technical foundation of our systems. You'll design data structures, write production code, and deliver results fast to meet user needs.

  • Achieve key milestones in building AI capabilities: prompt orchestration, retrieval, function calling, streaming UX, and evaluation guardrails.
  • Implement high-throughput content processing: ingestion pipelines, storage, delivery, observability + cost control.
  • Develop identity, privacy, and trust features: consent-driven flows, signed tokens, rate limits, audit trails, abuse prevention.
  • Create a data platform: normalize external data, model entities/relationships, and expose clean APIs.
  • Ship product surfaces: Flutter apps (buyer/seller) and ReactJS dashboards with reliability and performance budgets.
  • Establish operational excellence: monitoring, alerting, automated tests, incident playbooks, and a sane release cadence.

Key Requirements
  • 6 - 10+ years building production systems as the primary architect. Exceptional earlier-career builders welcome with proof.
  • Hands-on Java experience, plus comfort with Python.
  • Exposure to Flutter or ReactJS in production.
  • Strong systems thinking: data models, performance budgets, failure handling.
  • Security & privacy instincts: PII handling, consent flows, audit trails.
  • Excellent written communication: crisp documents, READMEs, and runbooks.
Career Path & Title

Start as Head of Engineering. Over time, choose your track:

  • Principal/Distinguished IC (maximizing technical leverage), or
  • CTO/VP Eng (when a team exists and needs leadership).
