About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and related technologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using Java and other relevant technologies. They will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to ensure that business needs are met and technical solutions are aligned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Testing: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Staying Current: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and methodologies.
  • Deployment: Oversee the deployment of applications and services, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Java Fundamentals: A deep understanding of core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience: Extensive experience with popular Java frameworks such as Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate (for ORM).
  • Web Technologies: Strong knowledge of web technologies, including RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
  • Databases: Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Action) to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Containerization: Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) for deploying and managing applications.
  • Security: Understanding of security principles and practices, including secure coding practices, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services related to application deployment and scalability.
