Job Title:
Demand Lead - Category Manager

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to oversee the pricing and revenue targets for a specific product category. As a Demand Lead, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, product ranges, and commercial strategies to drive sales and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve monthly sales and profitability targets on e-commerce platforms and our own direct-to-consumer channel
  • Plan effectively to meet sales targets while maintaining healthy inventory levels for stock-keeping units
  • Analyse data and insights to determine industry and consumer trends
  • Manage inventory distribution to achieve fast delivery timelines for customers
  • Implement effective performance marketing through listing and banner ads
  • Make accurate forecasts for product demand to ensure sustainable inventory levels
  • Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities for product categories

Basic Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in business management
  • Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar role with a minimum of 4 years' experience
  • Solid knowledge of category management, marketing, and sales principles
  • Proven experience as a team leader and strong team management skills
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • High sense of ownership and rigour
  • Organized, methodical, and detailed-oriented
  • Able to deliver projects within set deadlines
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Analytical mind with strategic ability
