Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to develop and optimize data-driven products and services for our product suite, including data lakehouse, data access APIs, and reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and architecting future-state solutions, maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical product data models, and assisting in process and performance optimization for data access.

Additionally, the candidate will assist in database tuning and optimization, help guide and mentor less experienced software developers, and support and resolve base product defects and incidents in client testing and production environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive professional data product development experience, including design, development, documentation, and maintenance across the full software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive professional data product development experience
  • Experience in designing and implementing data products
  • Experience creating secure data solutions
  • Demonstrable experience in data modelling and tuning SQL query performance
  • Experience working with relational databases and efficient data design and access
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
