Job Title: Apache Druid Data Engineer

This role involves working with a cutting-edge data analytics platform, leveraging the power of Apache Druid to drive business insights and decision-making. As a seasoned professional in this space, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with various technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect scalable data architectures, providing technical guidance and expertise to ensure optimal system performance. Additionally, you will be expected to develop and maintain high-quality code, adhere to coding standards, and participate in code reviews.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Apache Druid: Strong hands-on experience with Apache Druid in production environments.
  • Real-Time Analytics: Solid understanding of real-time analytics, OLAP systems, and columnar storage.
  • Data Modeling: Proficiency in SQL, query optimization, and data modeling for Druid.
  • Integration: Experience integrating Druid with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.
  • Linux Administration: Knowledge of Linux administration, shell scripting, and JVM tuning.
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk).
  • Cloud-Native Deployments: Exposure to cloud-native deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Distributed Systems: Good debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed systems.
