Accounting and Back Office Operations Executive Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Back Office Operations Executive to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of client accounts and back-office operations.

As an Accounting and Back Office Operations Executive, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Client Onboarding: You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end client onboarding process, including KYC verification and account setup.
  • Transaction Management: You will process and record client pay-ins and pay-outs for trades, ensuring timely completion of T+1/T+2 settlement obligations.
  • Accounting: You will maintain and update client ledgers, tracking deposits, withdrawals, and trading margins. You will also reconcile daily balances to ensure accuracy in client accounts.
  • Compliance: You will ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, and other tax-related obligations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or back-office operations, preferably in stockbroking or financial services.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and stock trading platforms.
  • Strong understanding of stock market operations, settlement cycles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax-related compliance.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Experience using KORP or other relevant software is a plus.
