We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team, where you will work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the success of our organization.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • ETL Pipelines: Design and implement robust ETL pipelines using PySpark and AWS Glue to extract, transform, and load data into our data lakes.\
  • Collaboration: Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data quality and availability, and provide expert advice on data management and analysis.\
  • SQL Queries: Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data transformation, and troubleshoot data issues to ensure timely resolution.\
  • Scalable Data Lakes: Design and manage scalable data lakes using AWS S3 and related services, and ensure seamless integration with other data systems.\
  • High-Performance Storage: Work with Amazon DynamoDB and Redshift to design and implement high-performance data storage solutions.\
  • Interactive Dashboards: Create interactive dashboards using Amazon QuickSight to visualize data insights and drive business decisions.\
  • Workflow Automation: Automate workflows with AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge to streamline data processing and improve efficiency.\
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability, and identify areas for improvement.\
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex data issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems quickly.\Qualifications:\

    • Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred).\
    • Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, and SQL, proficiency in Git and AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, etc.), and familiarity with Databricks and its ecosystem.\
    • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\Preferred Skills:\

      • Big Data Technologies: Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, and experience with data warehousing and data modeling.\
      • AWS Certifications: AWS certifications in data engineering are a plus, but not required.\
