Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Leader to join our team. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for leading and managing the preparation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Directing and supervising a team of chefs and cooks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Cooking and preparing complex dishes, including sauces, soups, and entrees, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled promptly and efficiently.
  • Developing and implementing new menu items and recipes to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as an Executive Culinary Leader, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an upscale hotel or resort setting.
  • A culinary school degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations.
