Analog Layout Design Engineer for Power Business Unit

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Layout Design Engineer to join our 2.6B$ Power Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will work on a wide range of exciting products such as IPDs, PMICs, DC-DC converters, and Drivers powering the next generation of automotive power needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop analog layouts for complex circuits, including charge pumps, comparators, amplifiers, bandgaps, and linear regulators.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to floorplan and layout typical analog circuits, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Manage a small group of engineers, mentoring new college graduates and providing guidance on design innovation and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge in floor planning, leaf cell layout, and analog layout matching techniques, as well as designing for EM and reliability.
  • Foster a highly creative and productive working environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Analog Layout Design and associated flows for DRC, LVS, Packaging.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of IC processing (preferably BCD nodes), packaging, and production test, along with familiarity with advanced IC CAD tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
  • Expertise in required CAD tools (Virtuoso XL / Calibre DRC, LVS & PEX / PVS / R3D).
