Excelra is seeking a Life Sciences Informatics Expert to accelerate research and development decision support. The successful candidate will combine scientific expertise with technological prowess to design innovative AI-enabled solutions for life sciences clients.

The mission of this role is to apply domain and technology expertise to drive strategic impact across business, IT, and scientific domains. Key responsibilities include:

  • Translating client needs into solution roadmaps that drive strategic impact
  • Supporting new business development by expanding science and technology solutions within existing and new clients
  • Collaborating with sales teams to provide presales technical expertise and create pitch presentations
  • Preparing proposals, project estimations, and responses to RFIs and RFPs
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in bioinformatics, AI, and data sciences

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field with consulting experience in biopharma services organizations
  • Experience in bioinformatics services, presales, or customer-facing roles in Life Sciences or Biotech; strong background in bioinformatics tools and applications of AI/ML in life sciences
  • Strong understanding of biotech and pharmaceutical data, workflows, and informatics systems
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
