Product Life Cycle Expert

Job Description:

The Product Life Cycle Expert plays a pivotal role in the product development process, serving as a key point of contact for domain leads and stakeholders. This expert is responsible for leading initiatives from conception to completion, interacting with cross-functional teams and suppliers on a frequent basis to conduct product audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product life cycle of automobile components by utilizing DOE tools, DVPs, and acting as a single point of contact across multiple domain leads and stakeholders.
  • Oversee research and development projects from concept to completion, providing technical support and expertise in material processing.
  • Analyze failed mass production components or assemblies, test components and vehicles to identify failure causes, and simulate potential influences.
  • Develop a testing strategy for specific issues and carry out necessary testing with laboratory analysis equipment.
  • Evaluate new products, processes, and suppliers, communicating results to cross-functional teams and business units.
  • Participate in the development of root cause analysis strategies and FMEA documentation to manage team failure mode knowledge.
