As a leader in Amazon Business Biz Operations, this role is part of the Self-Service Registration team within the Business Prime department.

This team has evolved to assist worldwide teams with work types requiring human intervention. We support all nine countries and operate 24/7 from India, Japan & Costa Rica.

The primary focus is to onboard business/corporate customers on the Amazon platform by providing benefits such as bulk ordering and expedited delivery. This involves verifying legitimacy of potential customers, reviewing and validating changes to business information, and corroborating licenses for healthcare professionals purchasing medical supplies.

To prevent abuse, the team combines technology, machine learning, and human ingenuity to identify threat vectors and create mechanisms to reduce their impact proactively and reactively. Collaboration with partner teams is crucial to identify and close gaps in systems, services, and processes that allow abuse to occur.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of Quality Auditors, driving delivery and enabling investigators to take the right action.
  • Define expectations from quality auditors by formulating performance goals, metrics, success criteria, and expected levels of delivery.
  • Partner with Operations Managers across sites/functions to continuously evolve auditor roles.
  • Lead small to medium-scale strategic projects, such as tool implementation, scaling up investigators, and operational efficiencies that are business-critical.

Key Requirements

  • 4+ years of operational and/or retail management experience.
  • 2+ years of team management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, especially MS Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with operations, risk, fraud investigations, and related fields.
  • Familiarity with six sigma tools and lean techniques.
