Payroll Manager Position Overview

The Senior Payroll Executive role is responsible for managing the entire payroll process for employees, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and maintaining accurate payroll data. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees, including salary inputs, deductions, bonuses, leaves, and attendance data.
  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax (TDS), and other applicable laws.
  • Prepare and validate salary sheets for error-free disbursement.
  • Coordinate with the finance department for timely salary transfer and variable calculation inputs.
  • Handle payroll-related employee queries and maintain accurate employee data related to compensation.
  • Reconcile payroll reports, bank statements, and audit requirements.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for internal and external audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, HR, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, analytical and logical thinking, and strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of payroll software and excellent communication skills.
