About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to take on the role of Network Security Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing secure network infrastructures across enterprise environments.

This position plays a critical part in safeguarding organizational data by defending against network-based threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and deploy secure network architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and network access control systems, maintaining optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor network traffic and security events using IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms, identifying potential threats and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring the overall security posture of the organization.
  • Collaborate with SOC and IT teams to investigate and remediate network-related incidents, providing timely support to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for network infrastructure, identifying areas of improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure secure configuration and patching of routers, switches, and other network devices, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Lead network segmentation and zero-trust initiatives to reduce attack surface, promoting a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
  • Stay informed on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance the overall security of the network infrastructure.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong background in network security, with experience in designing and implementing secure network architectures.
  • Proficient in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and network access control systems.
  • Familiarity with IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms, with ability to monitor network traffic and security events.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
