Job Opportunity: Sustainability Leader

As a professional in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, conceptualizing impactful projects, and fostering partnerships to address community needs. Your duties will include overseeing CSR audits, communicating efforts both internally and externally, supporting employee social initiatives, and managing project execution, monitoring, and impact assessment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including the Companies Act. Manage CSR initiatives under the Calderys Social Welfare Trust, aligning with the company's CSR policy. Support audits and documentation related to CSR compliance and reporting.
  • Identify and implement CSR projects aligned with the company's thematic focus areas. Conduct due diligence of NGOs and partners to ensure alignment with company policies and objectives.
  • Foster partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, and community organizations. Collaborate with local stakeholders to assess community needs and design impactful interventions.
  • In partnership with Group Communications, develop and publish the annual CSR report on the website. Create internal and external communication materials, including impact stories and CSR updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field such as social work, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in CSR, social impact roles, preferably in manufacturing and specific geographies.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian CSR laws, reporting requirements, and best practices.
  • Experience in NGO due diligence, partnership management, and project execution.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Fluency in English; other languages are an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
