Breakwater Specialist Lead

We are seeking an experienced Breakwater Specialist to lead the development and implementation of coastal protection systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in coastal and marine engineering to contribute to the growth of key coastal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coastal Protection Design & Construction: Lead the design, planning, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure port infrastructure protection.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee port expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget control.
  • Coastal & Marine Engineering Expertise: Apply knowledge of hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure project success and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.
