Job Title: Plumbing and Fire Fighting Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing and Fire Fighting Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing concept designs, schematics, development, and construction designs for plumbing and firefighting systems.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for creating tender drawings, preparing calculated notes, shop drawings, and submitting them as required. Additionally, you will need to select materials, contact suppliers for quotations and technical documents, and take off BOQ (bill of quantities) of firefighting and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce Concept Designs: Develop concept designs, schematics, and development designs for plumbing and firefighting systems in accordance with architect's layout and client requirements.
  • Create Tender Drawings: Prepare tender drawings for plumbing and firefighting systems, including waste, soil, rainwater, sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher systems.
  • Prepare Calculated Notes: Prepare calculated notes, shop drawings, and submit them as required.
  • Coordinate with Teams: Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Direct Activities: Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents.
  • Plan Project Layouts: Plan project layouts and prepare scale drawings.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors: Collaborate with supervisors to prepare technical reports and installation guides.

Requirements:

  • 10-25 Years of Experience: Minimum 10-25 years of experience in plumbing and fire fighting design.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
