As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local European GAAP standards.

This role involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that accurately reflect the company's financial position and performance.

You will also play a critical role in consolidating financial data across international branches, ensuring compliance with international tax laws, VAT regulations, and statutory audit requirements.

An additional responsibility is to monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable cycles, including coordinating with vendors and customers in different geographies.

Maintaining accurate ageing reports and supporting month-end and year-end close processes are also essential aspects of this role.

You will work closely with internal and external auditors to implement and monitor internal controls that safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

In collaboration with operations, logistics, and sales teams, you will assist in allocating costs accurately and providing timely financial information to support business decisions.

To succeed in this role, you will require an MBA/M.Com degree, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification, and proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or European ERP systems.

Additionally, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment are highly desirable.

This role requires a deep understanding of FMCG business dynamics and inventory-heavy operations, familiarity with European taxation, customs, and trade laws, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
