About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead API sourcing and procurement activities for our client.

Key responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and qualifying API suppliers globally, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to secure high-quality materials.

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify reliable suppliers that meet client requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, purchase orders, and supply contracts.
  • Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and adherence to quality, delivery, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as pharmacy, chemistry, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in API sourcing, procurement, or supplier management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
