Database Administrator

As a seasoned Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our organization. You will work closely with senior developers to design, test, and implement databases that meet our department's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage database locking, process blocking, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system efficiency.
  • Create and maintain high-availability architectures to prevent data loss and downtime.
  • Develop and deploy new database objects, including tables, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex relational database reports using SSRS.
  • Optimize MSSQL databases to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced understanding of relational database architecture and infrastructure, specifically MSSQL.
  • Knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, and day-to-day DB functions.
  • Experience with cloud database storage technologies and high-availability groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education and Certification:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
