Localization Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Localization Project Manager to lead our localization projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging translation management systems (TMS) such as Smartling and XTM.

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire localization process, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. This includes managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with internal stakeholders and business priorities.
  • TMS Tools: Set up, automate, and troubleshoot translation workflows in Smartling and XTM. Collaborate with engineering or vendor support as needed to resolve any technical issues.
  • Vendor Management: Manage schedules and queries for localization vendors, coordinating assignments, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and enforcing service level agreement (SLA) compliance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Documentation, Marketing, and Support teams to gather requirements and prepare content for localization.

Key Qualifications Include:

  • 7+ years of experience in localization project management or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Smartling and XTM.
  • A strong understanding of TMS, translation workflows, translation memories, and terminology management.
