
Senior Sales Director

Lead a dynamic team of Admissions Counsellors and contribute to achieving strategic objectives.
- Supervise and manage a team of 10-15 Admissions Counsellors and 1-2 Team Leaders.
- Provide visionary leadership to drive sales performance and meet revenue targets.
- Oversee the entire sales process, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing.
- Monitor and improve the sales pipeline to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of Admissions Counsellors.
- Foster a positive work environment and minimize attrition.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and achieve set goals.
Candidate Profile
- Individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in B2C or education sales.
- Experience handling Inside Sales teams is an advantage.
- Proven problem-solving skills and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent people skills and ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong listening skills and empathy to address customer needs.
- Sales-focused mindset to effectively communicate upGrad's offerings.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite is preferred.
