Merchandise Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Specialist to join our team. This full-time role is based on-site in Delhi, India and involves managing inventory levels, setting up visually appealing displays, analyzing sales data to anticipate inventory needs, and working closely with suppliers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking, and collaborating with suppliers to negotiate prices and manage ordering processes. They will also be responsible for managing corporate orders and sampling to retail chains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of merchandise.
• Set up and organize visually appealing displays to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
• Analyze sales data to anticipate inventory needs and make informed decisions about stock levels and purchasing.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices and manage ordering processes, including negotiating delivery times and ensuring timely receipt of merchandise.
• Manage corporate orders and sampling to retail chains, ensuring that products are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Proven experience in sales and retail environments, with a strong understanding of merchandising principles and practices.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions about stock levels and purchasing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
• Previous experience in merchandising or a related field is an asset.
