Investment Associate Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating and managing portfolio details of various private equity funds.

  • Managing investment portfolios with precision, ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates.
  • Creating bespoke reporting templates that cater to investor needs, incorporating relevant metrics and KPIs.
  • Analyzing fund valuation data, including investment costs, realized/unrealized value, gross/net multiple, and financial performance indicators like revenue, EBITDA, net debt, and valuation leverage multiples.
  • Tracking operational KPIs and quarterly updates, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Compiling and reconciling fund track records, utilizing cash flow notices to ensure accuracy.
  • Performing complex calculations, such as fund multiples and IRRs, using cash flows and conducting attribution analysis.
  • Reconciling portfolio-level operational data, including geographical presence, headquarters, and portfolio leverage.

This role requires:

  • A post-graduate degree in finance or a related field.
  • 1-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in management reporting or operational finance, with some research experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently, delving into projects with attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality output.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A deep understanding of financial concepts and terminology.
  • Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
