A leading alternative asset manager and real estate developer company is seeking a recently qualified Chartered Accountant for an Associate designation.

Job Profile

The ideal candidate will be responsible for indirect tax compliance, GST, tax audits, and maintaining reconciliation between financial records and GST returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling GST compliance including computation, preparation, and filing of returns.
  • Managing input tax credit reconciliation and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyzing input tax credit eligibility on various procurements as part of PO approval and GST compliance process.
  • Maintaining reconciliation between financial records and GST returns and relevant tax ledgers.
  • Facilitating GST audits and assessments by tax authorities by conducting technical research, drafting submissions, and representation before tax authorities.
  • Supporting internal functions in handling business queries.
  • Interacting with consultants on various tax compliance and litigation activities.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of GST laws, compliance procedures, and return filing requirements.
  • Proficiency in ITC reconciliation, tax ledger maintenance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Candidates having strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
