As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing project expenditures, including annual, quarterly, and monthly budgeting and forecasting. Your expertise will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, optimize cash flow, revenues, and general management contribution.

• Manage project invoicing, tax issues, bonds, and guarantees
• Lead financial accounting and reporting, focusing on optimizing project costs and revenue
• Participate in opportunity/risk identification and mitigation actions
• Prepare monthly project reviews with the PM/Central Controller/PSCM
• Review and joint responsibility for all financial aspects of the project, including estimate at completion and related cost-to-complete, forecasted revenues and cash flow, risks, and opportunities assessment
• Enhance commercial awareness within the project team and provide commercial input to the project execution plan
• Livesthe core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
• Coordinate with clients for approval on invoices, obtaining payments, and various compliance forms
• Maintain an updated billing register capturing details of all billings till date, status on approval, payment, various deductions with categories and reasons, follow-up to collect deducted amounts
• Monitor site expenses strictly, weekly report project expenses in a specified format, and reconcile SAP entries with invoices
• Analyze actual vs. budget costs and revenue on the project, highlighting potential issues to the controller manager and project managers
• Lead the activity of project actualisation (actua) at HO-defined frequency, coordinate with project teams to get required data, discuss with controller manager to prepare finance-related slides in actua presentation, upload of actua in SAP post approval from required people
• Review Kappa against budgeted costs and highlight in case of costs exceeding the budget, check that adequate documents are attached with the Kappa
• Share project slides for monthly business review in accordance with timeline defined by the project team, keeping controller manager in loop
• Check provisions comprehensively to ensure accuracy, completeness for monthly closing, and in line with accounting rules and HO instructions
• Conduct monthly cash verification and surprise verification at least once a month, report results to HO team (controller manager and IFC team)
• Supervise compliance on Internal Financial Controls (IFC) as defined by HO in the Risk and Control Matrix (RCM)
• Monitor ABG, PBG, any other guarantees, insurances to ensure timely renewal, reduction as per contractual conditions
• Adhere to tax regulations
• Provide support to execution teams and become an integral part of the project team, providing core finance support for all finance-related matters on site
• Fulfill man days for self against respective projects
• Verify timesheets of staff working on his project are filled timely and properly
• Guide day-to-day work of site accountants, provide guidance and support for efficient conduct of site tasks
• Support central controlling team on various analysis, ad-hoc requests
