About the Role

MaimsD Technology is seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the physical implementation of our digital IC designs, from RTL to GDSII delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement power-grid and clock specifications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the logic design team to address timing fixes and leverage knowledge of basic SoC Architecture and HDL languages like Verilog.
  • Be proficient in industry-standard Physical Design & Synthesis tools and have a deep understanding of scripting languages such as Perl/Tcl.
  • Understand the Physical Design Verification methodology and be able to debug LVS/DRC issues at the chip/block level.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure manufacturability and meet stringent design requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-10 years of experience in physical design for digital ICs.
  • Proven track record of successful physical design projects, including complex SoC designs.
  • In-depth knowledge of physical design methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with power grid and clock network design.
  • Strong understanding of physical verification concepts and tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Tcl).
